Welcome
A can offer you a calm space to be heard and to understand the parts within you
I support people in reconnecting with themselves and restoring a sense of inner balance.
I offer sessions both in person and online, in English and Greek, working with clients in Greece and internationally.
About Me
I’m Agapitos, a Person-Centered therapist and trauma-informed with training in Internal Family Systems (IFS). My work integrates the depth of the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model with a core Person-Centered philosophy, creating a space where you can explore your inner world with clarity, safety, and compassion.
I support adolescents and adults in reconnecting with themselves, understanding their inner experiences, and navigating challenges such as trauma, emotional difficulties, ADHD, and Internet addiction. My approach is grounded in curiosity, respect, and the belief that each person carries an innate capacity for healing and growth.
I have been working with individuals and groups since 2012. My education includes a Postgraduate Diploma in Person-Centered Counselling from the University of Strathclyde, training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) – level 1, through IFS UK, and certification as an ADHD coach.
I have worked in the Adolescent Health Unit of the University of Athens with adolescents and Internet addiction, facilitated adult ADHD support groups with ADHD Hellas, and worked with NGOs supporting vulnerable communities. I am also an active member of the Hellenic Association of Person-Centered and Experiential Approach (HAPCEA), having served as the General Secretary to the Board (2020–2024), as well as a member of PCE Europe and IFS UK.
Born in Germany and raised in Greece, my path has been shaped by movement, culture, and human connection. I am also a father of two teenagers, whose growth and resilience continue to deepen my understanding of what it means to be human.
My Approach
You might be feeling:
– Overthinking or constant anxiety
– Feeling stuck or disconnected
– Inner conflict
– Self-criticism or pressure
– ADHD-related overwhelm
– Relationship patterns that repeat
– Something feels off, even if you can’t fully explain it.
My approach integrates Person-Centered therapy with the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model, offering a space where you can explore your inner world with safety, clarity, and compassion.
In Internal Family Systems (IFS), we understand the mind as made up of different “parts” — each with its own thoughts, emotions, and roles — alongside a core Self that is calm, curious, and grounded. Rather than trying to control or silence these parts, we learn to understand them, relate to them, and bring them into a more balanced and harmonious relationship.
The Person-Centered foundation of my work ensures a non-judgmental, empathetic environment where you can speak freely and be met with respect and genuine understanding. You are not seen as something to be “fixed”, but as someone with the capacity to grow, heal, and find your own way forward.
My work is collaborative and adapted to each person’s needs. I support adolescents and adults facing challenges such as anxiety, ADHD, and patterns related to internet use, as well as those navigating inner conflict, emotional overwhelm, or periods of transition.
The aim is to be more connected to yourself, develop self-compassion, and move through life with greater clarity, resilience, and ease.
